University of Wisconsin–Barron County

The University of Wisconsin–Barron County (also known as UW–Barron County or UW–BC) is part of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, making it one of 13 two-year campuses of the University of Wisconsin System. It is located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. These include Meggers Hall/Ritzinger Hall (administration and classrooms), the Fine Arts Building, library, gymnasium, student center, and physical plant.〔http://www.barron.uwc.edu/discover/directions/images/campus-map-large.jpg〕 Other educational and recreational facilities include an observatory, a Japanese Garden, a three-hole golf course, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, an eighteen-hole disc golf course, and a prairie restoration and wildlife habitat study area. The CedarSide Trail for walking and biking winds through the campus.〔
The current Dean of the campus is Dr. Paul Chase.

UW–Barron County was established in 1966.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Home - Rice Lake Area Chamber of Commerce )〕 In the fall of 2006, an extensive $6.4 million expansion and renovation project was completed. Most notably, the new construction updated and connected Meggers Hall with Ritzinger Hall.
